...and the Irish just keep humming along! Today they took care of DePaul. I love the excitement this team brings to basketball! :-)

Revenge is sweet! Tonight the Irish showed how far they've come this season by beating the last team to beat them. 7 wins in a row!!!!!!!! Cooley has really turned on the afterburners during the second part of the season. In fact, the whole team has improved. Let's hope they can continue to win deep into tournament season.
Keep it up, Irish!!!!! :-)

....and this fantastic season continues!!!! Tonight the Irish come from 20 points behind to beat Villanova. The Irish went through one of those scoring droughts that drive you nuts and fell behind early. They settled down in the 2nd half and gradually whittled away at Villanova's lead. With just under 3 minutes in the game they took the lead. Villanova managed to tie the game at regulation. The Irish proved to be the better team at handling overtime. A couple of 3's iced it and broke Villanova's spirit. On Wednesday the Irish will try to continue to keep the Big East winning streak going. Here's hoping a new record will be established.
Go Irish!!!!! :-)

Big game Wednesday night versus West Virginia. We can set our record with 9 Big East wins in a row. Plus, Bob Huggins was the guest speaker at my Hall f Fame night and was nailed for dui right after. So, I always look forward to beating him.

Can somebody tell me what has happened to the exciting ND team we've been following the past 2 months? They lose last week because they forgot how to get a basket. Then tonight during the first half against Georgetown they look positively pathetic!!!!
I don't recognize this team right now. I honestly think they don't care if they lose these final 2 games.

I think they were too satisified with where they were.

Another win. Finally the Irish men got it back together and beat Providence. However, they did get sloppy toward the end and allowed Providence to get rather close. Would like to see Abro come back for a 6th season but it doesn't look like it's going to happen. :-(
